A slow website kills conversions. Before you upgrade your server plan, check if your WordPress installation is optimized correctly.
Here are 5 common culprits we see on the Amilma Cloud:
- Unoptimized Images: Uploading 5MB photos directly from a camera is a disaster. Use tools to convert them to WebP format.
- Plugin Bloat: Do you really need that “Snow Effect” plugin? Deactivate everything you don’t strictly need.
- PHP Version: Check your cPanel. Are you running PHP 8.1 or newer? PHP 7.4 is end-of-life and significantly slower.
- Caching: Are you using Litespeed Cache? (Our servers support it natively).
- Database Junk: When was the last time you cleaned your wp_options table?
