Windows 10 and 11 come with several standard power plans (Balanced, High Performance, Power Saver). However, there is a hidden plan called Ultimate Performance, originally designed for heavy-duty workstations and servers.
This guide will show you how to unlock it to reduce micro-latencies and maximize hardware efficiency for gaming or video editing.
What is Ultimate Performance?
This mode eliminates all energy-saving features. It stops hard drives from going to sleep, sets CPU performance to 100% at all times, and prioritizes hardware responsiveness over battery life.
Note: This is recommended for Desktop PCs. If you use a laptop, this will drain your battery very quickly.
